After Your Content Brings Them In-Are You Closing the Deal?

Congrats! You've taken the time to develop great content. You've engaged your audience through press releases, RSS feeds, SEO articles, blog posts, Facebook and Twitter posts, and a bunch of Squidoo and Hubpages. People are flocking to your site in droves.
So is your phone ringing?
While it's important to focus on high quality content development and distribution across the web, its just as important to make sure that when people land on your site, they're going to like what they see. Even more important than just having a site that looks cool, your landing pages must have a clear call to action on them so that visitors can quickly and easily understand what it is you want them to do.
Finally, whatever action it is you want your visitors to take on your landing pages, make sure that you make it as easy as possible for them to actually follow that action through to completion.
