SEO Tools - Sometimes Oldies are Still Goodies

If you've been working on optimizing your own website, one for a friend, or even one that you plan to use professionally, needless to say you'll want it to show up on a search engine here or there.

That means working in some SEO keywords here and there. Easy, right?

Sometimes. It's not so easy all the time. That's where some good SEO tools come in. But what should you use? With the ongoing emphasis on search engine optimization, there are a lot of companies out there that will offer you ways to update your sites and keep your keywords updating successfully.

Some of those companies even offer those tools for free.  But when I'm looking for something simple to use and free, not to mention quite effective, I rely on the good old Google AdWords keywords tool.

Here's how it works. Let's say your keyword is "birdhouse". Just how many ways can one say birdhouse?  You just go to the tool, located at https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal, and hit the "get keywords" button.

Did you think you were having a hard time optimizing that word "birdhouse"? Once you do this simple two-second trick, you'll find that there are actually hundreds of phrases using this word that will cause your keyword to pop up in Google and other major search engines.

Not only that, but the Google AdWords keyword tool will tell you how many times those keywords have received hits in the past month or so, and will give you options for adding one or all of the keyword hits to your website.
There are not very many SEO tools out there that will give you the results the Google AdWords keyword tool does, especially not free ones that are so easy to use.

So, if you're looking for SEO tools that will bring you the results you want on Google, it makes sense to use one of Google's own tools.
