Consistency in delivering your targeted website content also influences repeat buyers effectively.  Keeping at the front of your customer's mind is essential in any marketing venue.  By regularly updating your content (no, this does not mean changing the title on an old post) you develop habits in your customers as well as increasing search engine optimization. 

Targeted website content can and will increase your customer activity if you utilize it properly.  Tracking this activity by analyzing site traffic and talking to your customers will prove the effort is not wasted.
